Pain is inevitable in life. However, suffering is optional - be it mental, physical, or emotional. My job is to help resolve suffering & support people as they live more fully into who they know themselves to be. As a lifelong recovering theatrical stage manager, I firmly believe that if the process of getting there isn't as rewarding as the final product, I haven't done my job. This may come in the form of one of my clinical skills, a teaching story, some curious homework, or a soup recipe. No matter what, we'll be in this together.
