 I no longer take insurance. I consider it a shell game that benefits neither patients nor practitioners in the long run.

These are lower than my old out-of-pocket fees by about $500/month for these benefits; plus, with automatic payments, neither of us have to think about money when it comes to your health.

It's said that centuries ago, people paid their doctor only when they were well and never when they were ill, since it was the doctor’s responsibility to keep them well.

This model produces the same effect, while still allowing me to pay my office rent and feed our ravenous teenager. My time is worth more, the better you feel; and less, the worse you feel. Thus, I have more incentive to keep you in good shape.

 Best of all, I get to focus on deeply tending a small number of people and devote my time to your care without having to spend unnecessary energy on marketing or insurance billing.
